We are a grassroot community based organization
The objective of Tena Brilliant Stars is to empower youths and women with skills and talent development to initiate income generating activities that improve their economic status by creating self employment for sustainable livelihoods.
Tena Brilliant Stars CBO is fully registered in Nairobi County with the Ministry of labour,social secuity, and services and has operational office at Embakasi sub county , Umoja 2. We as a CBO promotes ethical business practices by offering youths financial literacy skills to promote a saving culture among the youth to make sound investments in future. We also provide a platform to connect youths to potential employers and other career opportunities through our network and partners.
About Beatrice Wahura Waithaka
A Beacon of Hope and Change
Beatrice Wahura Waithaka is the visionary leader behind Tena Brilliant Stars, an organization dedicated to supporting education in low-income communities in Kenya. As a pillar of strength and a passionate advocate for education, Beatrice has dedicated her life to empowering children and youth by providing access to school fees and essential learning materials.
Her journey to community service was shaped by a life-changing experience. After serving a ten-year imprisonment in Ghana, but served nine years. Beatrice found her true calling—to uplift and transform lives through education. Determined to turn her past into a force for good, she returned to Kenya and founded Tena Brilliant Stars, an initiative that ensures disadvantaged children receive the education they deserve.
Under her leadership, the organization has grown to impact hundreds of students, providing not only financial assistance but also mentorship and community support. Beatrice believes that education is the key to breaking the cycle of poverty and is committed to fostering a future where every child, regardless of their background, has the opportunity to succeed.
Her story is one of resilience, redemption, and unwavering dedication to social change. Through Tena Brilliant Stars, Beatrice continues to inspire hope and make a lasting difference in the lives of many.
What We Do

We support parents in low income communities in Kenya to access education Aid for their children.

— Health Awareness
In this program, we offer seminars designed to facilitate easy access to proper healthcare, aiming to restore hope among individuals facing challenges such as HIV/AIDS, GBV, and depression, regardless of refugee or local host status. We aimed to support both groups in overcoming barriers and improving their well-being.

— Community Charity Outreach
In this program, we collect both new and gently used clothing & furniture items to offer support to individuals with special needs. Our mission is to foster comfort, inclusivity, and confidence within this community, ensuring they have access to clothing that meets their unique requirements and enhances their sense of well-being.

— Entrepreneurship Training
In this program, we focus on imparting essential business skills and techniques, equipping participants with the tools to generate innovative ideas and implement effective cost-saving practices. Our curriculum emphasizes business sustainability, guiding individuals towards long-term success in today’s dynamic market landscape.

In this program, we specialize in training young individuals in various art skills, empowering them to unleash their creative potential. Furthermore, we leverage our expertise to market and sell our crafted products to both local and international markets, fostering economic growth and artistic appreciation worldwide.
